Malström Overview Overview (1) Volume / Spread In addition to a standard volume knob for controlling the overall loudness of the synth, the spread control is unique; it allows to you take advantage of the stereo outputs of the Malström. Increasing the spread knob will move Osc A's signal further to the left channel and Osc B's signal further to the right. With spread set to 0, both oscillators are centered in the left/right field.
